entertainment

This weekend I thought we might go see a movie in the theater where they have popcorn toppings so I can get my chemical flavoring fix, but when looking up the listings, thought otherwise. Why on earth did they make a sequel to Honey?

In general, we've stopped paying for our DSTV (satellite television) which we found had loads of shows that we'd never seen/cared about in the states plus its super expensive ($80/month) and I was having alot of quality time on the couch watching nothing of substance.  Since then we've been watching movies (thank you Dev!) and bootleg television occasionally, recently a co-worker gave us BBC's The Hour (6 part mini-series set during Suez Canal crisis with that woman from I Capture the Castle) but for the most part its made us even more addicted to the internet.

For Keith this means conspiracy theories, monitoring of precious metals and general Boston updates.  Unfortunately for me this means Facebook, celebrity gossip and online shopping.  Suffice to say, I'm casting about for new hobbies, ones that don't include list making, and also keeping in mind that i don't have much attention to detail (e.g. no knitting, sewing).  But I'm tired of caring about the internet.  Suggestions??

Do you ever still play music? Any chance of gardening or other pursuits that take place outside of the house? xox
